SUBMISSIONS
Submissions are open to scientists and artists all around the world
We welcome all types of images, not only photography or microscopy. Send us your computer-generated images, data visualisation, even drawings or painting renditions of your favourite scientific images. Get as creative as you like
MEET THE JURY AND THE TEAM
The selection process
The best pieces are selected with the help of our JURY composed of scientists, artists and museum curators. The [Figure 1.A.] TEAM curates and presents the works in an annual exhibition in Lausanne, Switzerland since 2017.
FINALISTS
Every year, the jury chooses five of their favourite images, and the audience chooses three. For the first time in 2022, a special Team Favorite Prize will be included.
